Colin had some terrible luck at ‘Thunder Sunday’ which took place at Rockingham last weekend.

During Saturday qualifying he was unable to get the most out of his setup and he qualified down the grid.
The problem as he explained was the gears. “We set the ratios to include the chicane, but unfortunately it wasn’t used, this left me bouncing off the rev limiter
for over 15 seconds”.

Sunday was very different with torrential rain all morning; Colin was just about ready for his first wet race!

The tyres were quickly changed to wets from the previous day’s slicks. Unfortunately disaster struck as he made his way out of the pits. A horrible binding
noise turned out to be the wet tyres which did not fit correctly on the hubs and made the car unsafe to race. There was no alternative but to return to the paddock.
